Sweet ride! (as the young kids would say.) :insane:

How about K Mart brings back their supermakets with this new logo recycled from the old logo?

The Sears essentials format has been dropped and the stores should be becoming Sears Grand. I haven't heard of any new conversions though in the past few months so it may be a dead concept

The operator of Kmart in Australia, Coles is dropping the Kmart name...!  Coles also operates Target in australia. The K mart department store brand will disappear within 18 months.  Kmart had 165 stores in Australia and NewZeland.  The first store opened in 1969.

Thats disappointing, but I didn't really understand why that company had so many different divisions to begin with. I wonder if Coles had to pay the U.S. Kmart/Sears royalties for using the Kmart name all these years--not sure how the law works about that

I've seen it in 2002 or 2003 and i think that the Kmart style entrance was still there but painted over.  It reminds me of the Kmart entrance at the Lilac Mall of Rochester NH.
