Dress Barn going out of business, closing all 650 stores

Interesting fact. When Dress Barn (now Roz and Ally) first opened in Bristol, Connecticut the were located in Bristol Plaza next to TJ  MAXX (now Ocean State Job Lot) in a space that was 6,700 square feet and later became Mandee. Mandee closed earlier this year. The "new" Dress Barn is in a 10,000 Square foot space next to the new Stop and Shop that was built in that same shopping center in 2004. So now both the old Dress Barn and new Dress Barn in that plaza will be empty.

Dress Barn, to my knowledge, is mostly in shopping plazas over malls, but it's been a long time in White Marsh Mall. Once is it gone, that will be one less tenant making White Marsh unique that way.

The Dress Barn locations that haven't closed yet will all close by December 26th. Liquidation Sales began November 1st. They will relaunch as an online retailer in 2020.
