This was a big story locally.

On Wednesday the Pittsburgh Pirates held Dollar Dog Night, a regular promotion where fans
can purchase a regular Sugardale hot dog for one dollar.

Someone apparently neglected to plan properly for this event, and in the middle of the game
they ran out of buns.  This immediately lit-up on social media.

The local take was that Pirates management is just as cheap when it comes to stocking buns
as they are when it comes to stocking their team with players.

They could just put the hot dog in a tray or bag without the roll - after all it only said Dollar DOG night, not Dollar Dog and Roll night ;)

Dog  $1.00
Bun  $4.50

That would sort of fit the M.O. of current Pirate management.
