CNN neuters sister network HLN

CNN has neutered its sister network HLN. They've laid off long time personalities Carol Costello, Michaela Pereira, and Ashleigh Banfield.

"Morning Express" with Robin Meade will now air 6AM-Noon Eastern.

"On the Story" will now air Noon-3PM.

Pre-produced programming including reruns of "Forensic Files" will now air 3PM-6AM Eastern.

Curious why you chose the term "neutered".  This looks like garden variety cost-cutting to me.
