Dr. Joy Browne popular advice radio show host past away at age 71.

I used to like listening to her show. There weren't any local affiliates after she switched syndicators after the new owners of WOR let her go a few years back. I was trying to get her back on in the Hartford Market.

huh....was just wondering about her the other day while watching The Naked Gun featuring
Dr. Joyce Brothers (who also has passed away).  Browne was the other radio therapist who was on a lot of stations back in the day.

71 is not terribly old these days.
