When I was listening to some news themes on Southernmedia's news music search archive, I also came across some memorable image campaign songs for some of the TV stations. Here are some examples for my area:


WBAY-TV 2 (CBS, now ABC)

Quite famously here in Pittsburgh in the 70's WTAE-TV used
Mason Williams' Classical Gas as the theme to their Action News.

The opening showed the Action News team ascending over Pittsburgh
in a hot air balloon!!     ???
