Yes - these were a chain of party supplies stores - probably closed down 10 years ago (or so).

I know there were a couple in the Albany (NY) area - Latham had one across from the mall, and there was one at Crossgates Commons.

One location I know of in Warrington, PA. It opened around 1995, but only lasted a few years. The space sat empty for a while except for temporary halloween stores, but is now a Sleepy's.

There was one in Newington CT. It was in the JoAnn Plaza (then Lechmere Plaza). It closed years ago and was something else that didn't last long (I forget), then it was Lefty Magoos (a sports bar) and now it's Dollar Tree. The storefront came full circle I would say.

big party is now called i party and thers 1 around here as far as i know
