XM giving yet another Free Trial

So the XM radio in my car has once again come to life with another Free Trial.
This one running through Dec. 2.

I believe this is the 4th. free trial in the past year.  Though there are some things I like about XM (plus the quality of terrestrial radio continues to decline), it just hasn't brought me over that hump to actually pay for it.

Couple of things that bug me.

1) If you are making a special offer for me to subscribe, then tell me HOW MUCH you want to charge me.  The info is nowhere on their website, and I am not going to call an 800 number and have a sales rep blow smoke at me for half an hour.

2) The sound quality is not all that it should be.  Particularly on spoken word channels.  It is like listening to streaming audio via your dial-up modem in 1999.  Very choppy and robotic sounding.

I am guessing business is not good if they keep on giving these Free Trials away.
