A week after Connecticut Magazine named it one of the best places in the state to get "steak" Morton's Steak House has closed its Hartford location.

The article also mentioned that a location in Stamford closed in 2014.

Not shocked, terrible location and Capital Grille probably took a lot of their business.

Both Morton's and Ruth Chris are very expensive. I'd rather go to the grocery store and buy a steak, some potatoes to make mashed potatoes (I like them better than a baked potato), and some veggies and make the meal myself.
