They were bought out by sleepys. I drove by the Berlin turnpike store and it was closed and to me that was a stupid move the whole time.

The article in The Hartford Courant and The Hartford Business Journal both say it is unclear whether or not Sleepys will keep the stores open nor are they sure they'll keep The Better Bedding Name if they do keep them open.

oh, I must have not examined the details in the article. I was under the impression Sleepy's was going to keep the Better Bedding branding on the stores, not convert them to Sleepy's.

T-Mobile took over part of the former Better Bedding in Bristol, which closed down during their round of closings last year.

Better Bedding is somehow now affiliated with 1800mattress.com their website and it has their logo on it. A handful of stores remain open under the Better Bedding name including the one in Southington in the Job Lot Plaza next to Price Chopper.
