Shocker. Heritage Boston Rock Radio station WBCN 104.1 will die on August 13 as MIX 98.5 WBMX takes over the 104.1 FM frequency. CBS will then re-launch 98.5 as 98.5 Boston's Sports-Hub WBZ-FM. The new 98.5 will be the new flagship station of the NFL's New England Patriots and the NHL's Boston Bruins.
