AMES PLAZA in Southington, CT has been sold again. This is like the 3rd time since 2000.

Konover got out of the business of owning shopping centers and sold the AMES Plaza and several others to Boston-area Samuels and Associates.

Samules and Associates sold it and a few others to Australia based Centro Realty. (They have a New York State office locally).

Centro Realty sold the plaza to RK Associates of Dedham, Massachusetts in 2009. RK Associates is owned by an Israeli-Immigrant who in came to this country in the 80s and trained with the Boston Celctics, played for the US National Basketball team, bought numerous shopping centers in New England and Florida, and recently bought the Israeli basketball team he once played for.
