My dad went up to Lakewood, NY today for a quick trip to the mall and discovered that Rex, an electronics store that had been there forever, was closed up. I dug in and found out that they are to close all of their stores this year. There aren't alot left. Some sites say 105..some say 40 or so. They have opted out of retail to focus on their other pursuits...alternative energy. In some cases it seems these stores are closing then will return under a new name...
