I worked at Shoprite in Bristol, CT for 11 months. Hated it. Walked out in the middle of my shift. Worked at Shaws for nearly 5 years. First in Bristol and then the now-defunct Southington location. Worked at Price Chopper 17 months and got fired. Been with Walmart for 6 months and 10 days.

I worked at Target for four months. I was a Cart Attendant and Cashier, I hated doing carts you had to do 700 other tasks and they had you come in at 1 clock to get carts and the parking lot would look like a mess. On a rainy day i walked out on my shift. I just miss doing cashier work and meeting so many people

Now i currently work at the hospital

I currently work for Waldbaum's a.k.a A&P Super Foodmart in West Hartford, CT. I've worked there for nearly 6 months since June. The 23rd will be exactly 6 months. I'm a cashier there. I haven't worked anywhere else.

I worked 3 years at Jean Coutu pharmacy (parent of Brooks pharmacy).  I was at receiving but later i mostly worked at customer service and cashier.

Then i was hired at Sears at Receiving part-time during school.  Then i went full-time and gradually inherited new tasks like managing the network, computers, registers, maintenance, translator, while being head of Receiving dept.

After 8 years, i decided to leave Sears.  I'm now a customer service agent at a large garage door manufacturer.  It was hard to leave retail but it's still a passion to me.

(I also left Sears to avoid the coming bankruptcy ;) although i probably would have liked to live this once)

I worked from 1989 to 1992 for White Castle, 1993 to 1996 for Pizza Hut (when it was a part of PepsiCo), 1997 to 2000 for Boscov's, and 2001-P for AMC Entertainment Company (AMC Theatres).  While at AMC, I've been there after AMC acquired General Cinema from US Bankruptcy Court, and the merger with Loews Cineplex (whose many former companies inculdes Metro Goldwyn Meyer and RKO Century Warner/RKO Stanley Warner Theatres).:yup::yup:

I worked for Old Navy for three months and hated every minute of it. I then worked for Wal-Mart for almost three years in jewelry. I worked retail at Mohegan Sun for two years after that. I am now an assistant Manager for Hot Topic and I have been there for about two and half years.

White Castle? What happened to White Castle in this area? They all seemed to close in the 90's.

Work part time (low pay for even career firefighters!) at Sears in Salt Lake at the Warehouse Outlet Store. Not many people knew about the Outlet at the warehouse so foot traffic was very slow. The way people would find out about it was when they came to pick up an item not stocked at the store!
Bad thing was that after 90 days on the floor, my job was to crush the items marked out as non-salvage. I crushed washers dryers fridges pool tables etc.
Sad as corporate would not allow for these items to be donated to any charity! Grrrrr, jack.
