When was this made? I use a Toyota pallet jack in my warehouse job. It is orange and black. Maybe at some point they changed the black logo to white. My boss told me someone in the shop had an accident with it 27 years ago. Toyota has been using the same logo for a long time. The Toyota "symbol" was introduced in the late 80's. The pallet jacks never used that logo, but I think the forklifts did. I have not been able to find this particular model on the internet.

I thought someone here might know.

Are you talking about the Toyota Power Jacks?? We have one, and it is complete junk. Got it brand new a couple of years ago, and wish we had our old one back. We used to have a Clarke Power Jack. The Toyota sucks in that it is narrow causing pallets to be more unstable, a real pain when unloading them off of the trucks. It is jerky, and sensitive, which makes dumping a pallet easier. The only advantage I see with it over the Clarke is that it is able to turn sideways in a trailer if need be to grab a pallet at 90 degrees because of the pallet leaning to one side.

The handjacks are hit and miss, We have maybe 3 Toyotas. The one is really nice, and probably my favorite one in the store right now. The other model have a screwy setup to raise and lower the pallets. They work alright though.

I use Crown jacks at work...both our powered pallet jack and walk-behind forklift, as well as our manual pallet jacks (save for a couple of old ones that desperately need to be put out to pasture). Good equipment.
