Any idea when the stores will be going into "Final Clearence" mode? I was just at The Meriden Square oh about 9 days ago and it looked to be business as usual at the Disney Store.

me and my friend Raff were just walking through, I told him about the closing and he freaked. I told him i needed a photo for the boards and he tried to block as best he could. I had my camera phone up and got a pic off before one of the girls in there seen me. I told her I was just texting someone facing the store and she said NO PHOTOS I'm calling security!!! We ran as best as 2 fat people could run over to Gamestop. We ended up leaving the mall after about 15 minutes. Security was looking for us, probably to confiscate my phone. I didn't hang around long enough to find out lol I don't see what the issue is with taking pics anyway. The store did very well here, and I don't see why it's one of the ones closing...not very exciting time, compared to some of the stories I've seen...but being this mall is the closest to me, I don't want to end up being banned from there lol I gotta find a way to be more discreet...hehe

security would probably say not to take anymore pictures and I dont think they could confiscate your phone. well what if someone walked into your house taking pictures, would you just go and take their belongings!!!

about the disney store doing well, well maybe there was a lease problem and it had high rent or maybe it did not do well compared to Disney store's standards.

Haha, I got busted taking these pictures at the Worcester Common Outlets.  I took a ton and eventually a security guard was leaning over a balcony and told me "hey, no pictures."  So we left.  the entire mall was pretty much closed anyways so it's not like it mattered much!

The Poughkeepsie Galleria and Galleria at Crystal Run (NY) are definitely both closing. I haven't been to Danbury yet, and the lists say it's closing, but I just find it so hard to believe. They only reopened that store awhile ago and it's a new style store. That means that the closest store to me will now be at the Palisades in West Nyack.

Closing the Century 3 store doesn't surprise me since the whole mall is going down hill, but it still sucks since it's only a 5 minute drive from my place. But the Robinson location?!?! :huh: Come on, that store is huge & the mall is always packed. Now I'm suckered into going to South Hills Village. Grrreat. :duh:

As far as I know, we only have 1 in the entire west TN area.  Since I'm way past the days of beng dragged in there to get the lastest whatever, I wonder why they don't just go on-line only and save a bunch of money!
