Yeah thats not good either. I personally do not like the one station near me, but in fear they might be the only one left, I will not burn down the place. haha Wawa gas burns the best for some reason.

I used to always go to Sunoco  because I worked at Price Chopper. Not only because it was right next door, but because of the 10 cents off per gallon. I would often have 30-50 cents off per gallon, but that also means I was wasting money on crap I didn't need to buy at PC. *laughs* My gas used to last a long time because I don't go out much.

Now that I'm unemployed I've been trying to go where the cheapest gas is. One Thursday in March I had an interview for a job in Forestville so I got gas at the Citgo station in Forestville and paid $3.469, right after I left the lady raised the price to $3.499 then two weeks ago Cumberland had the cheapest gas at $3.769 so I got it there.

for these gas prices, I Think it will reach the point where they wont let the gas prices go up. IN CT I saw it at 4.48 a gallon at the end of May.

Yeah there's got to be a ceiling to all of this, or soon there's going to be a coup in this country.:insane:

I hope you are right. I still saw a lot of cars in Maine yesterday. I just hope I am right that they will ban the increase in gas prices or they go down to between 2.50 to 3 a gallon (it was not an issue when it was 3.10 a gallon).

I read that this was the worst June since the Depression.

Yeah I heard that on the news yesterday as well.  Sigh...

I really don't understand anything I hear anymore. First I hear things are improving, then they're worse, then they get better, etc, etc. I'm sure something will be done at the last minute to send things in the right direction (that's what politicians do, wait). It can't stay like this forever.

What I do is think this way...I live in a house in a fairly decent town, my family may not be financially safe, but we keep going, I got a job now at Waldbaum's, and have goals for my future, I enjoy going places within short distances of my house, and am in good health at the moment. I have a whole life ahead of me (god willing), and like Janet Jackson once said in one of her songs "Tough times don't last for long". 2008 and maybe 2009 will pass and once again things will be stable. You can be happy without being influenced by money.

$43 to fill up my car. *GRRR*  10 gallons.
