So how about movies lately?  How about not.  I can't reember the last teaser I saw that had me interested.  The industry is running out of ideas, and turning every comic book character possible into a film.  What gets me on this topic is a movie I downloaded years ago, but never completely watched.  Well I watched it the other day and it is quite possibly the worst movie ever made.

The title is "The Death of a President," and its about the purported assasination of President Bush and life in the post-Bush world.  The entire movie is comprised of fake interviews with people talking about life after the Bush regime.  If this isn't a sleeper I don't know what is. A completely uninteresting movie, and to be honest a bit disrespectful if you ask me.  I mean i'm no fan of George Bush, but to produce a film solely about the fictionalized assasination of your current leader, sheeshe.  What does that tell the world.  Anywhere else you would most likely be put in jail for terrorist propaganda.

Other movies that have made my F list recently are, anything to do with comic book superheroes, Flight 93, World Trade Center.  C'mon, everyone knew on september 12th, the scripts were already being written for a Sept. 11 movie.  Just the idea is honestly almost as awful as those movies were.  I mean, I didn't think the acting on United 93 was too too bad, for an independant movie.  But what happened on that airplane we only know bits and pieces, and we will never know the full.  To elaborate that much as to produce a major film, sigh, no matter how man times you tell moviegoers that itis ficionalized, people are going to come out of it thinking that IS what happened, and that is not fair to those who gave their lives on that plane.

And talking about fictionalized, how about that "docudrama" ABC aired "The path to 911."  C'mon, Docu-drama?  You could call just about every movie with an ounce of historical significance a Docudrama.  No part of the word "documentary" should be used when referring to that program, it was awful acting, completely elaborated, some scenes even completely fabricated by their own admission.

Last movie I went to see was Underdog. I liked it, it wasn't as bad as the critics would have you think. Since it was filmed completly in my home state of RI it was fun to see how they redid the skyline, moved the State House and seeing all the locations.

I'm utterly pathetic. The last movie I saw at the theater was the 2006 version if Poseidon. I saw it on my 24th birthday (5/23/06) with my best friend Paul.

I hear you, the last time I was in a theather it was a pre-screening for "Shooter."  I had to give them my cell phone becuase it has a video feature on it!

Movies just seem to be getting old, and just cycling through the same ideas over and over.  Especially Adam Sandlers latest movies.  I mean no offense to him, but they just seem to be the same material, same punchlines with new movie titles.

I remember about a year ago when they were filming all over Providence, like Crawford said.  Underdog, 27 Dresses, even TV series Brotherhood.  I only go to school down here, but I remember watching them film part of Underdog on Westminster St, I was standing nearly shoulder to shoulder with the guy from 40 Year Old Virgin.  Pretty cool experience.  They filmed some Disney football movie in Worcester not too long ago either, they were paying people $70 a day to sit in the bleachers and cheer!
