Ames Southbridge

So after posting in the Salvation Army thread I got thinking about Ames's first ever location. I lined up these two pictures and it was pretty amazing to look at the changes after almost 50 years.  I purposely tried to take the '08 photo from the same angle as Dick Whitney's so I could do just this, but I never got around to it.

For example, the FOE sign has changed color, and a windows has been bricked up.

The street sign is gone, and a new telephone pole has been built.

Ames's sign is gone, same with the trees.

There is a white covering over the transom window above an entrance in the background.

And lastly, it sort of looks like the same fence is standing, which is pretty crazy to see it new in the '59 picture.
