Ames gets a national radio mention

The other day Ames Department Stores actually got a mention on national radio.
On the Clay and Buck Show they were talking about the fact that Kmart is down to just
3 stores in the United States.  Co-host Buck Sexton mentioned that when he was a kid
he would visit relatives in upstate New York where "they had this store called Ames,
which was kind of a more humble version of Kmart."

It's been many years I'm sure since Ames has been the subject of any on-air discussion.
