Bryan Wilson, very sad.

My wife is a big Chicago fan so we decided to attend the show when they came to town this Summer.
Their opening act was Bryan Wilson of the Beach Boys.  I was never a huge Beach Boys fan but the man is a music industry legend, so I was intrigued.

Honest to God this was one of the saddest things I have ever seen with my own eyes.
He sat there motionless at a piano while the band he assembled (that did sound amazingly like
The Beach Boys) played all the old favorites.  He did not appear to be playing, and in the off
moments when he decided to chime-in on the singing he was way, way offkey.  I found myself
constantly looking at the jumbotron to see if he was asleep (or still breathing).

When their sets ended two band members came over to the piano, helped him get up, and
positioned him behind his walker.  It took him somewhere between 3 and 5 minutes to leave
the stage toddling behind his walker. 

I felt so terrible for him.  In that condition why would he be out on tour humiliating himself this way?
