VERNON, CT — Any one who has driven on Interstate 84 heading east toward Tolland in the last few decades has experienced a bit of an eyesore. A large piece of prime real estate off Exit 67 that was once slated for a Home Depot remains vacant, but regulatory approvals remain in place and the property owner continues to explore options.
