The Flintstones is a pretty blatant rip-off of The Honeymooners.
Jackie Gleason said that he could have sued, but after thinking about it he
decided that he did not want to go down in history as the guy who killed off
Fred Flintstone.

When my daughter was a baby she used to like this show.
I think all of the bright colors caught her attention.  We lived in Michigan
not far from the border with Canada, and could get a UHF station which
aired The Flintstones.....in French!
