77 Kids was the kiddie brand of American Eagle Outfitters that was started in 2007 and in 2013 AE sold the brand to another company and it was rebranded as "Ruum American Kidswear", then later on Ruum closed all of their stores and went online only.

Here's a picture of what the outside of a Ruum (pronounced as "room", not "rum" in case you're wondering) store looked like.

77 Kids had a treat bar for kids to pick out a treat after their parents were done shopping.

The American Eagle Outfitters store at Times Sqaure used to have a 77 Kids store called the "Style Lab"

Never heard of them. I wonder if the brand name is still used....

As I said before, American Eagle Outfitters sold 77 Kids to another company in 2012 and the company rebranded it to Ruum (prononuced "room") American Kidswear, in 2015 Ruum closed all of their stores and went online only then in 2016, Ruum was replaced with Kidpik, a girls monthly subscription based clothing box service similar to Stitch Fix.

Just asking out of curiosity, does anyone on here know of any former 77 Kids and Ruum stores in their area?

The Walden Galleria Mall in Buffalo had a 77 Kids/Ruum store, it was later a salon for a short time and was last seen (by me) as a sports collectible shop.
