CVS closing 70 stores

I wonder if they'll close the one in Shoprite Plaza in Southington, Connecticut. It's been slow for a number of years now. Plus with CVS no longer selling cigarettes, the store is even slower. I think this location will have been open for 30 years in 2017. That part of the plaza was built in 1987.

I suspect it will be pretty scattered (after all, closing 70 locations over all the states they are in is only one or two per state).

Does seem, though, that a spot like you mention could be one targeted - being that age, they could be coming to a point of renewing a lease (probably for a higher price) and not want to do that if it doesn't do well overall.  No guarantees, though.

They are strong down here in Jersey.....plus Rite Aid and Walgreens seem to suck more.......
