I found it weird that there wasn't a thread for white tower so i thought I'd post about it.
This was a chain that got a lot of inspiration from White Castle, but later in its life it became a diner company with art-deco buildings.
There is one in Toledo Ohio that has largely became its own restaurant serving none of the original specialties.

Here is an example of a Schenectady NY location less than a mile from my home.

This is the Amsterdam location that likely closed when Amsterdam demolished main street to build a mall

Just to clarify:  The photo that shows up (the Fuze Box) is in Albany, just about where Central & Washington Avenues come together.
The Schenectady location is the one in the flickr link.

This one doesn't seem to show up, just an X?  rather than the picture.  Not sure if it's the link or what.

there used to be a White Tower in Upper Darby, PA, near 69th Street Transportation Center.  This was located at West Chester Pike, near Victory Avenue

My daughter lives in Toledo.  I have been by the White Tower there.
It bears no resemblance in any way to the original White Tower (I remember the
one in Downtown Pittsburgh).

The Toledo restaurant bears the name, but does not look anything like a White Tower.
The building looks like it may have been a Bill Knapp's at one time.
