TVLAND/CMT drop Dukes of Hazzard

Viacom owned TVLAND and CMT have dropped The Dukes of Hazzard. The reason? The car The Duke Boys drove in the classic series The General Lee has a Confederate Flag on the roof. The Confederate Flag has become even more controversial than before after photos showed the guy who murdered 9 people at an African American Church posing with The Confederate Flag.

CMT had been showing The Dukes of Hazzard for several years. Sister network TVLAND just recently started airing it.

Marc's Note: Confederate Flag or no Confederate Flag I'm glad they pulled the show because I didn't like it.
