BOMBA-FM a small Connecticut FM Latino station owned by Red Wolf Broadcasting has expanded its reach. Bomba is based out of the HD2 Channel of WMRQ 104.1 FM, which is a Modern Rock station. For people who don't have an HD Radio they use Low-Power Translators to be heard on your regular analog radio. They're on 97.1 out of Bolton (Which is East or Northeast of Manchester) to serve Greater Hartford, 99.5 in Waterbury (their antenna is somewhere in the Lakewood Road area), and 104.5 in Bridgeport.  They just bought 2 more translators - 104.5 in New London and 98.5 in Meriden. 98.5 was formerly on 98.3 and relayed a Spanish Christian Network called Radio Aviamiento,.

Last time I was in Connecticut (which was a long time ago....was visiting
Ames home office actually) I noticed quite a lot of Portuguese people in the area.
Are there any radio stations there that broadcast in Portuguese?
