Syndicated DJ Delilah shuts down the radio station she owned

Delilah, the host of a widely syndicated soft hits dedication show, has pulled the plug on KDUN, a radio station she owned in Reedsport, Oregon.

Delilah grew up in Reedsport and began her radio career working at this station at age 13.  Many years later, in 2021, she bought the station to keep it on the air and continue to provide service to the community. Unfortunately the local advertising market was not in great shape, and last week she returned her license to the FCC, stating that she no longer had the financial ability to keep the station on the air.

KDUN had a daytime broadcast power of 50,000 watts, so I imagine the electric bill was quite substantial.
