I don't know about anyone else, but I really hate it when they take older songs and remix them into new versions.

Twice in the past week on two different Spanish Stations here in Connecticut â€" BOMBA 97.1/99.5/104.5 FM and MEGA 910 AM they played a Bi-Lingual Hip-Hopish/EDMish REMIX of The Archie’s “Sugar Sugar.”

Then today I came across “Island Bounce” a long running Reggae show on WLIS/WMRD (1420/1150) and they played a REMIXED version of Bob Marley’s “Buffalo Soldier”.

Yikes!  Like it wasn't hard enough to listen to the first time around!

Sad to say I am old enough to remember when it went to #1.   Was a wee tot riding around in the car
with my uncle as he played it on the Groovy Q-Vie, KQV-1410 Pittsburgh.
