This is a local chain of around a dozen stores located in Northwest Ohio.

I remember them from the towns where I lived and worked during my early days with Ames.
Was wondering if they were still around, and the answer is apparently yes.

Broken down, dirty stores as I recall.  Sort of the way Foodland was around here
before they closed up.   Hopefully that is not the case today.

NW Ohio is in general a pretty competitive grocery market.
Giant Eagle ran up the white flag and left the area in May.
