Does anyone know if a chain called The Fabric Center was bought by Jo-Ann?

Awhile back, when Jo-Ann's was expanding it purchased several smaller chains (including Cloth-World and a few others that I can't remember). Together they formed "Fabri-Centers of America". Up into the late '90s they ran under there own banner (but some things had all the brands together... like store brand yard sticks). In the '90s, Jo-Ann rebranded all the stores into "Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores."
