Turn Style was owned by Jewel Supermarkets, before they sold it to Venture. All the stores became Venture, except the largest in the chain -- the location at Dixie Square Mall.

I know that TurnStyle was predominately located in the midwest, but growing up in Massachusetts in the 70's we had a TurnStyle in Quincy, MA.  I think this store was open throughout the 70's and later bacame an Osco Drug.  Does anyone have any more info on this chain, or if they had any other east coast locations?

That makes sense  as Osco was owned by Jewel at one time
So they probably  just changed to osco when the turn style name was sold out  Sad to say Osco is now  gone at least in indiana its now part of CVS  in there long line of buy outs
By the Way the former ames Zayre in Indianapolis is now a Kroger  im guessing they either demolished  the old store or major remodel  There is a smaller store empty  at the west end of marwood but i cant figure out what it was

There was one in Lawrence, MA that also became an Osco Drug.

That location was ultra low end.
