Good's Furniture and Flooring announced today that it will close its three furniture stores located in New Holland, Harrisburg and Dover. The floor-covering division in Lancaster will remain open. Most of the stores' 75 employees will be laid off by the closings, although an exact number has yet to be determined, Vice President Joe Cassidy said.
The closings were driven by the economy; the company is not bankrupt and will be able to fulfill all obligations to employees, customers, suppliers and bankers, Cassidy said. All present orders will be filled, he added.

Jan. 21 will be the last official day for business. The store will close to prepare for a going-out-of-business sale and will re-open on Jan. 29. The duration of the sale is yet to be determined

Same. The one in Southampton, PA is still vacant with the signs up. Then I saw their stores out here in Lancaster County...my guess is some person bought up a few stores and continued using the Good's name.
