MacDade Mall in Holmes (Ridley) PA is rumored to become a Home Depot. This mall is the same design as the Village Mall in Horsham and the Village Mall in Willingboro, NJ. It opened in 1969, and began to decline in the 90's. Almost all the stores inside the mall were evicted in summer 2006. There are already four Home Depots in Delaware County. Other rumors say it will become a Sears.

Not originally, but for a long time it was. Hechinger was originally a chain of traditional hardware stores, founded in 1911. They started building big-box stores in the 80's. Hechinger, Builders Square, and HQ all started as separate companies. The other two were founded in the 80's, and always had big-box, warehouse-type stores. Hechinger acquired the other chains, at different times. They all closed when Hechinger went bankrupt in 1999. Hechinger and Builders Square have been re-opened as online stores, but are not run by the original owners.

MacDade Mall original two anchors were Woolco Department Store (a division of F.W. Woolworth Company) and Acme Super Saver Supermarket (still operating as Acme Sav-on)
