Bill heard Chevrolet who has several dealerships in Florida and other states ceased operations yesterday. The dealer who is located in Plant City and Sanford Fl. ceased operations while employees were at lunch, these employees were sales and some service people. We are really hurting economically and it does not look good for the future. Other car dealers in and around my area my be doing the same thing soon.:huh::huh:

I've actually read on ripoffreport.com and seen on the news that they are actually in part closing due to illegal practices selling cars at their dealerships.  They've been fined hundreds of thousands from seven different states and theres a lot of past and current lawsuits against them.  It ranges from altering the MSRP's on their vehicles to forging false ppwk, all caught on camera, way beyond the typical dealership ruses.  I saw on the news that they have people sign a "bailout" agreement in which they let people drive off the lot with the vehicle and unbeknownst to them, if Bill Heard can't find a lender, they come and reposess the vehicle and keep your deposit.  There's also apparently a large amount of people who signed loan ppwk, and have their carbon copies, but Bill Heard took their signatures and put them on lease ppwk and submitted that to the bank, and conveniently "lost" the originals.

Yeah from what I have heard their commercials were misleading. I have a friend who heard one of their ads and traveled all the way to their dealership only to get a different story.
