Heres a pretty intriguing run down shopping center I found on live maps... Any ideas what it might have been?

Vineland, New Jersey.

The parcel on the corner was a Two Guys, originally. You can tell because of the twin rockface columns. A few Two Guys store models are known to have done this corner design.

It would appear it became a Rickel Home Center in its last years. It's likely been vacant for over 10 years.

Here's some more information from Wikipedia, take it for what its worth: "Landis Avenue just west of the Circle, later Jamesway and Fashion Bug, and a dollar store in the old automotive building, among other retail."
All submitted photos were taken by myself unless stated otherwise.

Cool find. I didn't know there were any abandoned Rickel's left...most of them were leased over to Staples (and in many instances, are again empty as Staples leaves for newer power centers)

I passed by this shopping center last week. The Rickel sign on the building is still up! There is also a classic 1970's Sears in Vineland NJ.

This former Rickel & Jamesway is going to be knocked down for a Walmart Supercenter in Vineland, NJ. It will be the second Walmart Supercenter in NJ and will open next year.

Guys my friend George used to work at WVLT 92.1 the all oldies station in Vineland, New Jersey. He says a Walmart has been planned for this property for at least 10 years.

Crusin' 92.1 WVLT - everyone's favorite Oldies station - where the Spanish music from their AM sister station can be heard bleeding onto the FM signal.

Tune into RJ's DISCO USA Fridays at 7PM on CRUISIN' 92.1 WVLT. One of his sponsor's is called Carnival Books. What he doesn't tell the audience is that Carnival Books is an adult oriented bookstore. Ah-HA-Ha.

Even though I work at a Walmart in Connecticut,  they do know where new stores are opening. I could try and see if anyone knows anything.

10 years? Well Jamesway would have closed in 1995 or maybe even earlier, and Rickel was in 1997. Two Wal-Marts near me were expanded to Supercenters in 1998.

The first Wal-Mart in New Jersey was technically not the one in Turnersville, opened in 1991. The Sam's Club in Cinnaminson opened in 1989, and was a former
Two Guys/Jefferson Ward/Bradlees.
