The shift in book buying claims another victim. The 50-year-old Maine bookstore chain will begin liquidation sales at its remaining locations in March. Their wholesale operation is under negotiations to be sold to the Hudson Group, the US arm of Swiss-based Dufry.

The closing of Mr. Paperback in Ellsworth leaves the town without a bookstore - though business is up at the library...
