Acme Mall-Hamden, CT

There was the Acme Mall in Hamden, CT.  Located at the corner of Putnam and Dixwell Avenues, it featured a Grant City Department Store (owned by WT Grant) and a Pegnataro's Supermarket.  Inside the mall were such stores as Tagway Shoes (later Fayva, Payless) and Consumer Value Stores (now CVS).  Later the Grant City became an Ames.

What is there now? Ever posted this on Deadmalls?

If i'm thinkin' right, there was never an ames in Hamden. The closest was Meriden.
EDIT: I got a sat image of what Putnam and Dixwell Aves look like today.
