the fox run mall is a 600,000 square foot 100-store mall in newington nh off woodbury ave near the portsmouth line that was built in early 1983. it is still dated kind of. the anchors are a nearly 60,000 square foot filene's, a 85,000 square foot jc penny, a 93,000 square foot sears and a 77,000 square foot macy's. the macy's was once jordan marsh and jordan marsh became macy's in spring 1996. jc penny opened 1986.
disney store opened in late 1995 and closed late 2005. suncoast recently closed and kb toys closed early 2005. ARbys was in the food court and closed in late 2002 and so did Burger king, which was 2 levels. mcdonald's opened in the food court. kb toys had relocated from an older spot (across spencer gifts) to its new spot (Where it closed) 1996. eastern mountain sports and hot topic are presant. shortys restuarant is there.
the filene's will become a section of macy's, and no stores will close. this mall helped killed its next door and older neighbor mall, newignton mall. the fox run mall has been going down hill though.
holister's is replacing the disney store. it said coming soon hollister's when I went to the Fox run mall last week. there are not very many vacant stores, but a lot of the stores that I like seem to be gone. the puzzle store that replaced KB toys is gone.
