Scene 75, the largest indoor entertainment center in Western Pennsylvania,
will open today inside a former Kmart store in suburban Pittsburgh.

Makes sense since those types of things need a large space, which would normally be costly to construct. So, if they can pick up an existing building more cheaply it would help.
They are also more likely in areas where weather tends to make indoor entertainment more popular.
There's one of those in Milford, Ohio, that's been open for a while now.
