Title: Massive sign graveyard (from the Flint Journal)
Post by: Hudsons81 on January 25, 2016, 11:51:38 PM
The Flint Journal has 42 pictures on their website of a large, sprawling sign graveyard. Many of these signs are about 20 to 30 years of age. Recognize any of these?

I would not be surprised if he has some BP shield signs buried under those BP Helios signs. And those Dairy Queen signs from years of "dairy regicide".

I hope they have Blockbuster Video signs in there somewhere! How I'd wish to create a franchised Blockbuster store...

Wow, those take me back to my time living in Flint.

VG's Grocery?  That sign must be almost 30 years old.
They went out of business when I lived there in the late 80's.
Their union voted to put the company out of business rather than swallow
a pay cut in order to complete an employee buyout.

Is Ya-Ya's Flame Broiled Chicken even around anymore?
