2 gas stations are going to be built side by side on Connecticut Route 229 in Southington next to Kizl's Diner. One will be Cumberland Farms, which already has a station on nearby Connecticut Route 10 and the other will be Speedway. This is a good spot for a gas station as there are no gas stations along Route 229 from The Citgo Station on the Bristol side of 229 at the corner of Redstone Street and the gas stations further down 229 near Target.

This is gonna be something very interesting.
The Cumberland Farms opened just before Christmas. It's one if their new concept stores and it's open 24 hours a day. So far no sign of the Speedway station that's supposed to be built next door.
