Title: Tilt Arcade
Post by: Pikapower on November 22, 2014, 08:01:23 PM
I'm not sure if this was a chain of mall arcades or not, but has anyone head of this arcade?

I don't know if they're a chain, but a few years ago they wanted to open in the former KB Toys at the Westfield Meriden Square Mall in Meriden, Connecticut. They never did and another arcade opened on the 1st Floor instead. It was called WOW Family Entertainment Center. It has since closed. As for the former KB? They became the new location of Parade of Sports Novelties.

Sounds familiar but I can't remember where exactly there was one.  Probably in one of the malls but not sure which one.

Logical name (from pinball machines that would say tilt if they were vibrated too much).

They were the first tenant to occupy the Woolworth space at Southland Center in Taylor, Michigan after Woolworth shut down in 1997. That space is now divided between Buckle, Bath & Body Works and Ulta.

I remember the Tilt video arcade at Port Plaza Mall in downtown Green Bay, Wisconsin in 1999. I used to play the X-Men arcade game at that arcade. I also recall seeing a Killer Instinct arcade game there as well, although I never played it. I think the arcade was previously a Gold Mine arcade when the mall opened 1977.
