21 stores sold to Kroger and Food Lion; the other 17 stores are still on the block, possibly to be sold to employees or independents supplied by SVU

At least one "food desert" has been created by a Farm Fresh closure in Norfolk, VA; residents are starting to despair that Harris Teeter will never open. Given the demographics of the neighborhood, I'm not sure what's in it for HT to keep this location dark indefinitely.
