This is the former O shea's building in LAconia NH, in downtown. IT was a department store clothing store. IT closed in 1991 and 23,000 square feet. it is now the fitness center and family dollar.

It was. The building itself was based on a Zoroaster pyramid and is considered a landmark. Half the building is still an Apex but they sell mostly housewares and some clothing. It is a shadow of it's former self. The other half was taken over by the DMV. Talk about odd feelings lining up for your driver's license in the old women's department. This was a nice, quality store. I believe the one in Warwick will be demolished. Swansea is still vacant but perhaps a Kohl's or Old Navy may fill the space. Just for your information, the church in the lower right corner of the photo was destroyed by a fire several weeks ago.

Parisian closed their last location in Cincinnati earlier this year in what's the name of that mall. J C Penney is closing their location in Northgate Mall, and I'm going to try to get pictures.
