Title: Possible former kroger cart

This is a 1996 united steel and wire cart that has had the retailer name removed from it if you know any other company that may have used carts like this please let me know

The only other thing that I could think of would be Gabriel Brothers since the logo on the carts had a oval outline, plus their history of using United Steel & Wire shopping carts.

Definitely a former Kroger cart.  I've seen these used in part of Indiana and Kentucky.

It's quite interesting there were supermarket chains that used plastic carts in the 1990s and switched to metal by the early 2000s. Wegmans and Tops were very much that way.

Assuming that is true, these were likely eradicated by that time in the 2000s. Very peculiar.

If they stopped using plastic carts in the 2000s then these weren't in use for very long as these have a production date of 1996 of them
