Demolition of the Showcase Cinemas in East Hartford began today (11/4/19). The theater closed in 2006. The demolition of the theater is part of a 20+ year plan to revitalize Silver Lane. ::)

Showcase Cinemas was great back in the 70s and 80s. Saw a few movies there... What are they going to build there?
