Title: Green Ketchup
Post by: riickyyyspaaaaniiiish on August 24, 2019, 03:26:27 PM
I remember not digging it at all, and thinking it tasted bad.  Was it just me?  Who can remember what it tasted like?

I ate this stuff. I now look back on it...being a terrible choice. Yuck.

This was a big local story in Pittsburgh when Heinz Ketchup in color was launched years ago.

Of course that was when Heinz was still a revered Pittsburgh company.
Since then it was acquired by Berkshire-Hathaway, who merged it with Kraft, and
for all intents and purposes moved the headquarters to Chicago.

Berkshire-Hathaway has basically run the company into the ground.  It just acquired
penny stock status.  Local rumor is that Heinz Field will be changing its name next season
as they won't pony up to renew the naming rights.
