This weekend featured some very strange occurrences in Major League Baseball.
1) Saturday night's Dodgers-Mariners game ended with a bases loaded walk-off balk in extra innings.
2) The Chicago Cubs played a five-man infield to end a Pittsburgh Pirates rally in the 8th. (Bucs would win with a walk-off homer in 11)
3) The Texas Rangers pulled of a triple-play in which the batter was NOT one of the men retired. The first time that's happened in baseball in 106 years!
The Pittsburgh Pirates have been shut-out four times in one week,
the first time that has happened in 101 years.
